Best Mobile Games like COD in 2024 – Our Review

v

Today, let me tell you all about 5 awesome mobile first-person shooter games that are pretty similar to Call of Duty for iOS and/or Android devices.

Game 1: Battle Prime

Getting things started with game number one, you already knew this game would be on the list: Battle Prime. It's a big favorite of mine, and I will always recommend it. This is probably the best alternative to Call of Duty Mobile that you can get right now. I mean, it even looks like Call of Duty Mobile. It's got great graphics, really nice gameplay mechanics, and all the content that you could possibly want in a mobile game. Tons of different weapons to choose from, as well as the ability to level them up and have a full gunsmith. A massive amount of maps, as well as game modes to choose from. Lots of characters called primes, all with their own unique abilities that you can use in battle, and so much more. Battle Prime might not be as popular as it once was, but this is one of those games that I can come back to at any random time and always have a lot of fun. Sniping is super satisfying in this game, the abilities are super fun to use, and I love the fact that you can switch between first and third person whenever you want. It just makes this game a lot more unique compared to others. You will love it or hate it, but try it out.

Game 2: Firefront Mobile

Moving along to the second game on our list, let's talk about Firefront Mobile. This game is most likely going to have much more complete versions released this year, and once it's complete, it's going to straight up be one of the best mobile FPS games out there. Think of this game as a cross between Call of Duty Mobile and Battlefield Mobile. It's going to have these big wide-open maps with helicopters and tanks, similar to a Battlefield game, but I honestly feel like the gunplay is more chaotic, like a Call of Duty game. It's really cool, and you can actually play in its beta test right now if you want. But just keep in mind, it's still kind of buggy and not that optimized, so it's not the best experience yet. If you want to wait until it's more stable, I can bet a lot of the people that are watching this video will end up liking this game more than almost any other game out there, and it'll actually have a really nice lifespan because it's made by the same developer who created Bullet Force and Forward Assault, two games that are still going strong to this day, like seven or eight years after release. Everybody always likes to compare Call of Duty and Battlefield, and since we don't really have a proper Battlefield mobile game right now, Firefront Mobile will perfectly fit that gap.

Game 3: 1 Mag Left

However, we must not forget about the third game on our list: 1 Mag Left. You might have never heard of this game before. I think I've only ever talked about it once before, but this is a severely underrated game that has so much potential. At the moment, it's kind of clunky and relatively bare-bones, but I think over the course of the next year, it's going to evolve into a really solid alternative to Call of Duty Mobile, especially for people with lower-end devices. Just like Firefront Mobile, One Mag Left is not made by some massive development team backed by EA or Activision or Tencent. It's just a small indie game trying to compete with the big guys. It has unique movement mechanics where you don't really slow down when you're aiming down sights, and there's a good amount of weapons and maps to choose from, as well as a variety of different game modes from battle royale to capture the flag to zombies. This game has it all, and their big claim to fame is you can earn almost everything in this game just by playing. It's not a pay-to-win game. There are weapon camos, gun and class customization, leaderboards, a clan system, and basically everything else that you need in a mobile game. Check this one out.

Game 4: Frontlines

Moving on the fourth game on our list is Frontlines. Believe it or not, this is actually a Roblox game. Roblox has this whole program where people can develop their own games, and it doesn't have to be just kids' games. Maximilan developed a fantastic game very similar to Modern Warfare on the Roblox engine. A lot of people are saying this game is even better than some Call of Duty games on PC. It's got incredible graphics, fantastic gameplay mechanics, all the essential maps and game modes to keep you entertained, full weapon customization, and so much more. The beautiful thing about this game is you're basically playing it over the cloud, so it won't take up too much space on your device. It's a pretty intensive game, so if you have a low-end device, you're probably going to struggle to play this game, but if you can, it's one of the only mobile games that actually feels like it delivers a full-on console-quality experience, alongside games like Arena Breakouts and Warframe Mobile, for instance. There are a few issues with Frontlines, like lack of customizability of controls—you can't really customize your HUD at all in this game—but it makes up for it by allowing mobile-only lobbies, so you're basically competing against everybody all with the default controls. I don't know, you'll probably like it, so try it out.

Game 5: Polygon Arena

And finally, the fifth game that I want to talk about is Polygon Arena. This is an excellent alternative to Call of Duty Mobile because it literally plays just like Call of Duty Mobile, just with different graphics. I know the graphics might be a turn-off for some people, as the game looks a bit more like a toy game, but if you don't mind the graphics, you'll be in for a real treat. There is so much that this game has to offer, like incredible movement mechanics that rival Call of Duty Mobile, lots of different guns and abilities to choose from, a big focus on both first and third person gameplay, and a solid selection of maps and game modes to choose from. There's a really nice community of people that actively play this game all the time. A lot of people are pretty hardcore about Polygon Arena, so you'll fit right in if you want to find a game that you can spend months or even years on. It's got multiple game modes, from battle royale to team deathmatch and a couple of unique ones, like vehicle capture the flag, for instance. I mean, they even have a zombies mode in this game. You can't go wrong with a zombies mode in a mobile game. Everybody loves those.

Final Verdict

And that's going to be it. Those are my top 5 picks for games that are just like Call of Duty Mobile. I know everybody's got different opinions, but I hope I helped you find something cool and new to try out.
